The call

I don’t believe in numerology. I don’t believe in symbols. I don’t believe in luck, or rituals, or repetitions, or the zodiac. These things are powerless, useless, and an illusion. However, I believe that evil forces may influence you and lead you to believe that all the things I mentioned have some power, or considerable power. The evil forces will just tilt you a little bit, not much at first, so you will perform some quick ritual and believe that it worked. Then you will do it again, and again, and more. That will constitute your belief system. You’ll be convinced that you need to do certain things to receive protection. Examples of that are the sign of the cross, entering with your right foot, crystals, incense, candles, colors, lucky numbers, a crucifix around your neck, and all this crap. You truly believe they, somehow, protect you in the spiritual realm. That you have a guardian angel who, no matter the stupidity you are into, will protect you. Sometimes, you go to a church, and since it's been a while since you last attended, you listen, bow your head, and make a little prayer asking for something you want. Then you go away, and your life returns to being the same as it was before, but you now feel protected. You thought you did your part. If you recognized yourself with the behavior I described, I have some bad news for you.
You have to understand that the unseen world is real, vast, and powerful. Moreover, you are either with God or with Satan. There is no middle term; there is no such ecumenical faith. You are either on one side or the other, because there is no such thing as a half-truth. It is either true or false. It is a binary operator. If you are within the truth, the truth will set you free. If you are within a false religion, a false creed, or a false ideology, you will be consumed by it, whatever it is you worship. And make no mistake, every human being on this planet worships something. Whatever you worship, if it is not God, you will be totally consumed by the thing you worship.
Is it your job? Burnout and lose your family. Is it your health? Pain and suffering. Is it your children? You spoil them and fear that you didn’t do enough. Is it your church? Exhaustion and boredom. Is it your intellect? The sense that you don’t know enough. Is it pleasure and sex? You’ll search for different, uncommon ways to get it, and guess what? It won’t be enough. Whatever it is, it will consume you entirely.
On top of that, you will feel a void. Something that no matter what you do, is never complete, or is never enough, or is never satisfying as the first time. It lasts a very short time, and you’ll need to search for more. More and more. The next big house, the next big vacation, the next big accomplishment, the next better person. This is your false god, and it has a name: Satan. He and his demons are there just with one simple objective: To guide you away from the truth.
The truth is one, and it is Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect life, died, and resurrected Himself to save you and me from our sins. If you don’t believe that, I have bad news for you. On the other hand, your life will gain a purpose if you follow Him and obey Him in what He explicitly asks you to do inside the pages of the Scripture. And it won’t be easy. And you won’t follow Him to gain things, but to detach from things, and be with Him, in His presence, forever. It is easy to understand but hard to grok. To fully capture what this means, you’ll need supernatural powers. A supernatural power that He, Jesus, promised to give you, which is the Holy Spirit of God. Only through the Holy Spirit of God within you, upon you, in you, will it be possible to begin your journey of healing. It all starts with God’s grace, as He calls you to join Him. You will have many chances to do so. Perhaps it's not right now, but I hope it's not too late. The Holy Spirit will convince you that you are not a good person. And that you desperately need Jesus to pay the price for you. What is the price? Death and Hell.
Once you willingly accept the true and only God in your life, He promises to give you His Holy Spirit, and you will live a completely different life. Your friends won’t recognize you anymore. Your family won’t recognize you anymore. You’ll lose some people and gain others. It will be a dramatic change. If you believe you accepted God and nothing much has changed in your life, you’re deceiving yourself. Don’t do that, because this is even worse than unbelief. Imagine thinking your whole life that you are somewhat a good person, in general, and then realizing, when you die, that Jesus will look at you and say, “I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.” What a scary thing to realize. Don’t think that you have all the time on your side. There is a point of no return. Act now, decide, and come.
So, here is your call for you. Again. Join the forces of good, and depart from evil. Please do it for real, with all your might. God is calling you. This is the truth.
“In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” - Words of Jesus in John 18:37b
Repent, while you can. Seek the Lord While He May Be Found.
